New garden pics

I took these pictures yesterday Feb 20/13 to check the snow depth on my vegetable garden, almost a meter, normal for this time of year.

The growing season is over.

I've been blogging for a number of months about planting, growing and harvesting vegetables here in Newfoundland  and now the season has ended. There'll be no more plants going in the ground here until June (depending on the weather) 2013. Right now that is a long way off. I may be posting from time to time about gardening related topics. Thanks for the page views and comments.

The garden after our first real snow fall last night. There'll be lots of the white stuff to come as we have 5 months of winter ahead
